Culture War, the Conspiracy - Part 2.
Note: This will be a 2-part post. The first post focuses on one aspect of the topic at hand - The Culture War - and this second post will develop points upon the first post.
Polarization across modern politics is colossal. In that, people whom participate in politics have began to associate their political identity with their own personal identity, resulting in the whole Culture war phenomenon which has dominated the political landscape in the West for several decades. So of course, one must ask as to why should all the arguments which are all involved in the Culture war discussion, must be infinitely lasting arguments? Logically, once an argument is made, it is usually assessed and then seen as either truth or falsity. This is how we can recognize the fact that we live on a spherical earth in a universe full of stars, and not a flat plane in the void. Yet, the Culture war has no definitive answers. Why is this?
If we look back at the timeline of where all of these discussions ended up coalescing into the 'Culture war' roughly began in the 1960s, and then mostly began reering it's head in the 1980s and 1990s. From this, all the altercations coming from the Culture war began roughly ~4 to ~6 decades ago. But then who started it? Who fired the first shot? What happened in the 1960s to trigger this 'war'?
Our answer appears out of nowhere, quiet literally in the form of the jungles of Vietnam. In the early 1950s, the French had to fight to keep their colony in Indochina theirs and not under the hands of the local Communist groups. Eventually, in the 1960s the Americans took over France's place and tried to keep Vietnam free from Communism. The only problem is that this was the first war in American history be fully televised, allowing all sorts of warcrimes to be displayed to the public. Therefore allowing for the emergence of the Anti-Vietnam war protests.
The Anti-Vietnam war protests across the rest of the 1960s and 1970s is the main factor responsible for many things in the modern era. Most relevant to us, is the entire Woke movement. It started out as just a counter-cultural movement which simply denounced the war, only to then radically spread out and take over the entire younger generations, changing everything from music to even politics. Now this meant that the US government would not be able to continue the war with Vietnam, nor do other slightly conservative actions without angering the wokist movement, which then began combining itself with the civil rights and woman rights movements.
Now obviously, America, even without being in Vietnam in the late 1970s and then 1980s, still had to deal with the fact that now this whole Woke movement existed and united several other movements to oppose them. These were the first real shots of the Culture war, where Conservatives and the Liberials did fight head on. The problem is that obviously, you cannot let this movement unsupervised... If only you could infilrate this "woke" movement and then use it as a scapegoat for everything... even, body armour of sorts. A distraction, per say.
In the 1980s, Corporations needed to gain influence. All the way back in to the Great Depression in the late 1930s, former American President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, passed the New Deal acts. The New Deal acts did many things, but relevantly for this post, prevented many, many things to stop another great recession such as that of 1929. This meant lots of regulations, implementing social security, and many, many other things, as to force companies to treat their workers well, banks to not speculate on the market, etc. The New Deal is argubly the reason why America not only was able to recover from the Great Depression, but also thrive, and then easily fight World War 2 with minor issue, and stay stable the entire time.
Futhermore, the Corporations couldn't repeat another Business Coup attempt just to regain their power. From the outlast of the Business Coup, now the Corporations were on a tight leash, paying 52.6% tax by the 1960s, aswell as deal with strict regulations, and great workers' rights. However, the Corporations, instead of giving up, worked hard to do a slient coup attempt starting in the 1960s, and finishing off with President Ronald Reagan, who effectively ended and murdered the New Deal, and provided the Corporations of America with everything they would ever want, including removing all regulations, rights, and other things. All sliently however as to not raise alarm bells. This can be seen with how Reagan has been seen as one of the greatest Presidents in American history, despite being the President to begin America's downfall, all for greed.
Now, why have I been talking about Corporations for a while, what about the Culture war's coming into existance? Well, both the alignments of the slient corporate coup and the creation of wokism and therefore the coming of culture war, line up a bit too well. Not only this, but the 1980s and especially the 1990s saw the Culture war explode into relevancy into the public. All of the modern symptoms of this culture war began here... and also, as it just so happens, this also saw the era of Corporate power increase. From the average American life going from intresting, bountiful, white or blue collar into repetitive, almost exclusively white collar work, working up the bone. Not only that bu these two decades also saw Corporations rise to be so powerful, they pratically became the state apparatus. Remind me, who is supposed to dislike Corporations? The Left of course. Did the left notice this in these two decades? No. Absolutely not.
Corrolation is not causation... but we've not had many historical examples of such two events corrolating perfectly, without it being that one is the causation. Therefore, it is easy to say, that once the Corporate State, or the Government co-operating and working with Companies, began to gain extreme influence and power - they likly used the Culture war as a distraction. A very effective distraction at that. Not only this, but since Wokism started the whole culture war debate to begin with, they too were bought out and hijacked by the Corporate State, or rather State-s as most of the Western world, and even non-western countries, followed suit with America.
This would explain in detail why Corporations are so woke friendly, and why they act all the time as helpful to support this or that cause, blah blah blah. Wokism is not a single movement anymore, Wokism is a shield for something much worse. And the Culture war itself is simply the shield being used. Right now? It's working extremely effectively. Even if "Woke 1.0" is gone for "Woke 2.0" now, the Shield is still strong, and keeping what pratically is the world, full of it's corporate states, safe and sound.
Therefore, the Culture war is not a debate to have. Especially if you do not want to reinforce the shield of the current global order, of effectively technofeudalism. For the Culture war is simply one of many disguises that the Conglomerates keep on profiting from their successful attempt at Divide and Conquer. Whilst to mention and discuss certain Culture War debates indivdually such as Climate Change, Immigration, etc. are important, to just fight 'Left' vs Right is pointless. For the elites of this world shall thrive from our division.
