Russo-Ukrainian War: An attempt to divide and conquer two brothers.
The current war between Russia and Ukraine may seem straight-forward at first glance: Russia taking Crimea, and then the Donbass, and then finally going to war with Ukraine, and causing all the events of the past 4 years in the region. However, as we have seen this "3 day special military operation" has lasted *slightly* longer than expected, by both sides, and has practically become a World War 1 - type stalemate where barely any progress is being gained. However the more you look at the details of the war and it's exposition from 2022 to 2014 and even before that, you will begin to notice certain things just wouldn't make any sense for either side to do.
For example, In 2014, Russia instead of just taking Crimea, could've gotten away with invading the country and re-inforcing Yanukovych's rule; Just like Russia does to Belarus to reinforce Lukasenko's hold on the country like was seen with the 2020 Belarus Protests. So, why didn't Putin do the same thing with Euromaidan? It would cost him less, and would solve his problems there easily, instead of accidently making Ukraine go even more pro-EU and pro-west. It can be argued that Putin could've not gained good intel on Ukraine's military situation, and thought it would be risky to invade Ukraine back then in 2014. But even then, why let Ukraine build up it's army for 8 years - and even give them training in the Donbass? As for Ukraine, if they truly want to secure their independance from Russia - why not attack and destroy Belarus in the North? It would serve as a massive distraction, and Ukraine already has the drone advantage compared to Russia. Futhermore, the people of Belarus could support the Ukrainian invasion of Belarus, which would fufill some of Ukraine's manpower needs, and make Russia's situation worse as now they can't hold the Suwalki gap or form the Union State. Even more, why doesn't Ukraine do naval invasions of the Kuban? They practically destroyed the Russian Black Sea navy earlier within the war, and it would serve again as a great distraction. Why not call Georgia in to capture North Ossetia and Abkazia, and even make Chechens strike Grozny and such, etc, etc. If Ukraine wanted to secure it's independance, why isn't doing these things to make Russia feel cornered, and if Russia wanted to secure Ukraine, why did they give Ukraine so much time to prepare for the war?
While the explanations for my points may be exaggerated, the point stands that both Ukraine and Russia could've done much, much more to achieve their desired goals. So why haven''t they done these actions which can speed up their goals? What if something is making both countries fight for their benefit? Well there is a very intresting connection which links the current Russo-Ukrainian War to an event that might explain why the war is happening in the first place.
In 1996, Ukraine was forced to give up all of it's nuclear weapons in it's stockpiles to Russia which was stated within the 1994 Trilateral Statement. In the same year, 1996, Russia held the last truly democratic elections in it's history. The 1996 election consolidated Boris Yeltsin's control over Russia after the Black October of 1993. Within that election, it is known that Russian oligarchs, in fear of the highly popular opposition candidate Gennady Zyganov (Who was the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation) becoming president of Russia, went up to the World Economic Forum and requested for help, which was granted and those oligarchs then ran media campaigns against Gennady Zyganov, and being the only reason and or the most major factor why Yeltsin was able to secure the 1996 election. The fact the Russian 1996 election then got followed up by Yeltsin taking away Ukraine's nuclear weapons is an... intresting coincidence. Considering that we know the World Economic Forum did was provide funding to Boris Yeltsin's oligarch friends.
But what if... What if the World Economic Forum, in return for providing funding for the oligarchs to smear opposition candidates such as Gennady Zyganov in the 1996 elections, asked for something in return... In return of getting a potential conflict that could provide millions to the military industrial complexes of Europe and America. It may sound abit far fetched but that doesn't mean it wouldn't have been requested. The coincidence of Yeltsin taking away Ukraine's nuclear weapons immedately after he won the 1996 Russian Elections seems awfully convienent.
Therefore I conclude stating this; The Russian Ukrainian war might have been a plot that started in 1996 with the removal of Ukraine's nuclear weapons, to make it easy for Russia to invade Ukraine without starting a nuclear conflict. Russia then took Crimea in 2014 as to trigger a response from the West to immedately fund and develop Ukraine's military. Then Russia begins the 2022 "special military operation", with Putin knowing fully well that the war will be a quagmire designed only for the net benefit of Russian, European, Chinese and American oligarchs and their industrial complexes, specfically of their militaries. This would explain the absolute stalemate of the Russo-Ukrainian war and why both sides are pratically not doing enough to achieve their goals (Independance for Ukraine and a Controlled Ukraine for Russia). Futhermore, considering all the I.M.F. debt payments Ukraine owes to the West, it won't matter wether or not Ukraine wins or loses the war. Either they will get conquered militarily by Russia, but keep their economy, or be economically enslaved to the west, but have an intact state and country, before then the West moves on to do what Russia did on Ukraine, just now on Russia. In effect what we have here is a divide and conquer scheme. Russia invades Ukraine, Ukraine either surives or is controlled, but both will be extremely weak after the war. Then the West will swoop in to control both Ukraine and Russia in the name of "democracy" - even if Ukraine stays independant from Russia.
Was this essay quite speculative? Yes. However this would explain why the Russo-Ukrainian war is going at the rate it has been.
